Title : We haven't decided yet

Image
I will be honest with you, I have no clue where this one’s going, it’s been ages since I have written something, but hopefully, this goes well. I am really passionate about watching movies, web series, and almost any sort of media, so I am always looking for something new to watch. The thing is I absolutely had no clue about the stuff outside the mainstream content. French, Japanese, Iranian, Korean and even regional cinema in India was only recently discovered by me, which was literally the best find. The number of literal gems we haven’t seen cause of the language barrier or simply because it’s trending is just too much.        (They are beans btw and that's a real movie, the best movie ever)      But we already know that, because we gave it a try because we finally caved into that one friend who kept pestering you with suggestions and now, we are in for it, binge-watched the whole thing, went to dig up the next season release dates, possible spinoffs, stan accounts and stil

Things We Really Need to Know. ft. Eat Pray Love

Hello there! So how’s everyone been doing?      Well it just randomly came to me how sometimes a movie just click with you on a different level? Well I love one such movie Eat Pray Love based on the book Eat Pray Love. Well yes someday I want to travel like the protagonist does, sure and I’ll have to travel to only Rome and Bali because India is my home 😉.             Eat Pray Love is actually the journey of a woman to everything but to me it was like things that nobody ever tells you but you need to know . When Julia Roberts is in Italy, she meets new people. Meting new people opens up one's various horizons for perspectives.        They teach us to be kind, caring, have self-respect, to pray but no one ever tells us as to why this is important. Why is that so important. 1. To Self:      In a scene where Liz and her friend go to Napoli for pizza. I swear, never in my life have I ever seen pizza as beautiful as that. And no wonder they stood in a line for it an

Love, Compassion, Kindness - Absolute Joke today!

The father of our nation once said, “The greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way it’s animals are treated.”            The very problem of our entire human existence is that we don’t care. We are so entwined in our problems like relationships and crap like there’s going to be a long que or OMG I have so much homework; we lament on stuff like that which we are in the end only too lazy to do that no one wants to talk about the real problems but only create problems who even dare to do a little good.      There’s a blog article going around regarding feeding the strays. Now it’s a good article but some nimrods are trying to make it work their way. The article sites a case of Delhi High court some-time in 2017 that clearly says feeding the strays in private property shouldn’t be done if you aren’t ready to take responsibility of any harm caused by the dog/dogs. there was also a story of a boy who fed a puppy who sat in front of their door. He f

Let's Just Be

Have you ever experienced that silence? That which is so extremely peaceful and mesmerizing. Well yes, silence can be very much mesmerizing just as much as it can be calming or medicinal. Medicinal because sometimes all you need is that moment of peace; it can heal a broken heart, can offer a peaceful sleep or set your thoughts straight.      Did you ever take a walk on a Sunday afternoon when it’s warm and breezy? When it’s about lunch time and yet it’s so nice and warm; like how Sunday exactly feels like at that time. Well that feeling may have different versions but you know how good it feels. That’s why we love Sundays so much.      Have you ever closed your eyes curl up in a cozy blanket and hear the raindrops hit the surface and felt the cool monsoon weather?        This kind of experience makes you wish ‘God! May this moment never end’… it really strikes me at moments like those that this ... right now… I want to take this in as much as I can cause ‘kal ho na ho…’

Happy Place

W riting, it’s very intriguing. Just like speaking, when we write we express but writing and speaking are different. Obviously you all know the difference. Expressing is the key point. Expressing is a privilege that only we humans have been able to achieve on an advanced level on this planet. Yes, the other animals can express too but they can’t read or write like we can. Hence, writing is a privilege. When we write, we express, preserve and relive as much as we want. Some believe, writing is a way that can let us live forever even if the body has gone; one can live forever through memories.        I once wrote some lines I then thought to write it down to remember even when I wouldn’t be able to visit it. Here they are: The sun, the empty ground, the dog; Oh what a perfect day. The playlist goes on; The mid-morning charms me and The sun beautifies my freshly washed hair today…… Oh what a perfect day.      The ground where I was, is my university’s basketball gr

Welcome, Let your mind just be.

The mind, our mind literally just wanders anywhere and everywhere. Its just so weird and wonderful, we are thinking of one thing and it just links and builds a bridge and lands our thought process to some completely different land.       Anyway, I'm not here to state the obvious or bore you with such cliche's, but rather share some of my own thought process trains...       So just last night I was thinking about Domestic Violence. Now I wasn't just thinking of it completely randomly but because I was going through these websites that law students usually go to for some law related information, latest judgement, competitions, author invites and such, when I came across an online essay writing competition on Domestic violence amid lock down. Now I myself am a law student and yes the law has the Domestic Violence Act and provisions like wise; it was when I started thinking...       Domestic means Home, so Domestic violence means violence at home, home the one
